Truckee's modern country club — a timber ceremony terrace over the fairways with the Sierra crest as the third witness.
Tahoe Mountain Club runs Truckee's club-country wedding circuit. The flagship is The Timbers at Old Greenwood, an open-air ceremony terrace framed in exposed timber with the meadow and mountains beyond; PJ's at Gray's Crossing adds an event lawn facing Mount Rose, the Alpine Club covers winter dates in the Village at Northstar, and Schaffer's Camp — the gondola-accessed lodge at 7,900 feet — hosts members' celebrations at the top of the resort.
The club's hospitality is the argument: menus from Chef Garrett Rosman's on-site kitchen, an in-house bar with staff, and an inventory that ships with the venue — linens, china, dance floor, fire pit, patio heaters, bistro lights. Guests bed down in the two- and three-bedroom Cottages at Old Greenwood inside the same pine-shaded community.
