Blend was founded by Josh and Whitney, who met at the Culinary Institute of America and cooked under, in their words, envelope-pushing chefs in Napa Valley and San Francisco before settling in the Reno–Tahoe area. A decade-plus later the company is one of the region's top catering names, with a Tahoe wedding practice built on multi-course fine-dining menus and genuinely prepared buffets.
The approach is design-first — "We design a meal around your Tahoe Wedding" — with dietary accommodations handled in the menu, not around it, and a partner list of venues and entertainers they're happy to share with couples starting from zero.
